2.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Account Information: Email address, name, and password when you create an account.
• Profile/Resume Data: Work experience, education history, skills, certifications, languages, contact information, salary expectations, and other resume/CV details you enter into your profile.
• Uploaded Documents: Resumes, CVs, and cover letters you upload to our platform.
• Job Descriptions: Job descriptions you paste into our Job Preparation module for AI-generated interview preparation.
• Payment Information: Billing details processed through our payment processor (Razorpay). We do not store your full credit/debit card numbers on our servers.
• Preferences: Job search preferences, company blacklists, location preferences, and auto-apply settings.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: Number of job applications submitted, platforms used, features accessed, and timestamps.
• Device Information: Browser type, operating system, and Chrome Extension version.
• Log Data: IP address, access times, and referring URLs.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

• Google OAuth: If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile information as authorized by you.
• Job Platform Data: When our Chrome Extension operates on third-party job platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, Workday, etc.), it may process job listing data visible on those pages to facilitate automated applications.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our Services, including auto-filling job applications on your behalf.
• Generate AI-powered resume content, ATS scores, and interview preparation materials.
• Process your subscription payments and manage your account.
• Send you important service-related communications (e.g., account verification, subscription updates).
• Monitor and analyze usage trends to improve user experience.
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats.
• Comply with applicable laws and legal obligations.

We may share your information with the following third-party service providers who assist us in operating our Services:

• Supabase: Database hosting and authentication services. Your profile data and account credentials are stored on Supabase infrastructure.
• Google Cloud / Gemini AI: AI-powered features including resume generation, ATS scoring, and interview preparation. Data is processed in real-time and not retained.
• Razorpay: Payment processing for subscriptions. Razorpay handles all financial transactions securely under their own privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.

• All data is transmitted using TLS/SSL encryption.
• Data at rest is encrypted using industry-standard AES-256 encryption.
• We use secure authentication mechanisms including JWT tokens and OAuth 2.0.
• Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.
• We conduct regular security reviews of our codebase and infrastructure.

While we implement commercially reasonable security measures, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our Services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.

Application tracking data (jobs applied, platforms, timestamps) may be retained in anonymized form for analytics purposes.

Our Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 16, we will delete it promptly.

13. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online.
